9 weeks out from The Modern Day Miracle Release...and im Geeked!
What's good everybody. First i just wanna say thanks to all of you that have been supporting me thoughout this. Im so glad for all the love and I give all Honor and Glory to the topic behind all my steps, breaths, and songs Jesus Christ. I am sooooo glad your on my side in this life cause I would be such a mess without you.
Well im taking care of my photo shoot this week for the album artwork and for the PR promotions for the album release. I know, it sounds all hollywood rite?! CRAZY! Music is a business, but if Christ aint the focus of the business it won't prosper to it's full potential. Real talk. But yeah I'll be finishing that up and the company that I found that does it has a pretty quick turn around so im glad about that. Only because im a little behind the eightball but it's all good, God got it...God got it. LOL
Lets see....
I finally got it all official now. Preach Salvation Assembly Music Group, Inc. is in full effect now. The contracts are official for those that signed (that's right, some of the artist that im looking at have not signed their contract offers). The album will be barcoded and tracked by soundscan (snickering cause im super happy about that). Im looking to have that project avaliable in as many locations as possible. Of course Milwaukee and the surrounding areas in the state, Chicago, Iowa (thanks for the love out there yall, I would have never expected it), Detroit (thanks for the love too yall, wuddup J.Dillard!), Clevland (what up to all yall that hit me up. The love is felt), and u know what....I cant really try and name every city but Im trying to get to all of the areas that are asking for me to get the album out there. Also im doing CD Baby, iTunes, Amazon.com, Myspace, and where ever else i can get it online. Also were looking at Family Christian Bookstores and Mardels. The actual stores may be a little behind the online sites for orders but try and be patient cause they'll get it. I know how it feels cause I went through that trying to get Sho Baraka's CD (I was super frustrated looking for that disc, but it was worth it!).
For any other music updates check my old blogs cause im tired of talking about music....real talk. I would hate to have people thinking all I do is focus on Gospel Rap, cause that is so far from the truth. The music portion of what God is using me for is E.X.A.U.S.T.I.V.E.! But im so thankful that He chose me, and He really did choose me. Not a cleshe at all. I was done rappin. Wanted nothing to do with it. But He dusted me off and sent me out so im on it Dad!
Now if I might, I wanna warn those of us who are apart of the body of Christ to not get all full of ourselves this coming Easter sunday. One sunday I was at a chruch that I was a member at and the pastor spent the whole time telling us that we should be nice to those coming in. Saying things like,"you know they dont know Jesus, so dont mind them if they get to acting funny." Now i know that this service is a lil different from the normal sunday service we have durring the year, but my thing is this.... your actions shouldn't change because of your environment. You should be displaying the same morals, values and communications with people no matter if they are "saved" or not. If anything you should be trying to win souls for the Kingdom in a major way on that day. It's almost a day to put on your war clothes like Virtue said and Get Ready! to win them for Gods glory. I say this Easter sunday let's resurrect the joy of Christ inside of those whom didn't know they had Him in them. Let's wake up the Holy Spirit and show them that life in Christ is the only life we can truly have life living! I could really go on for a a while about this but ima leave it at that. Use discernment this coming Easter!
Ok. This is a long blog so im going to shut up. LOL. Keep repping the King yall! I love each and every one of yall and once again...thanks for the support.
