When you think about C.Moe the phrase, "Unapologetic Authority" comes to mind. This young man, born on the streets of Chicago's south side, now a proud Milwaukee native, brings you a passion for not only music, the youth, and the lost, but for the Gospel. At age 12 he was forcibly moved from Chicago to Milwaukee's notorious north side of town where he was promised a better chance at a good life. By age 17, C.Moe was already an established entity of the inner city and moving into a path that would lead to death and destruction. "You see," C.Moe says, "While in the Chi all i knew was the block because I lost so many important figures before i turned 6years old. So music was my release from the way of life my sister and I had become used to. People like Scarface, Too Short, and N.W.A. were my role models." With those type of rappers as role models, C.Moe quickly began to learn the art form taken on by his 'role models' and began to perfect his own brand of emceeing.

After making some very unwise decisions in his life, C.Moe began to understand why the only strong spiritual figure in his life always stood out to him. "I could always remember my grandmother saying 'The Lords Prayer' with me and telling me that Jesus loves me." As he began to study the Gospel of Jesus Christ more, began to wonder what would be the best road for him to take in order to keep himself inside of God's grace. At first dismissing the idea of being a gospel emcee, he soon realized the parable of his very own God Given talent.

Now at age 28, this emcee has poised himself as a premier artist among the Christian Rap Underground. With the release of his debut album "Modern Day Miracle" receiving airplay in cities as far abroad as London, as well as holding the #1 spot for 'song of the year' with "Rep He!" on Goat Radio, and being nominated for awards by Gospel Streets Radio(Baltimore, MD), it's fair to say that this young man is on a mission to win the lost with the talent God gave him. As CEO of P.S.A. Music Group Inc. (Preach Salvation Assembly), it's plain to see that C.Moe is a forward moving ministry."I enjoy being the CEO of my own label. I get to go out and truly be myself and minister the gospel, and not just through song. I'm allotted time to pray with people and just shake hands and be a real dude with the people that enjoy the album and might not have a relationship with Christ." Humility, respect, and honor are words often thrown around without much thought, but in the case of C.Moe I think that they are well deserved.

The Fall Guy...
Imagine this, your walking down the street, minding your own business doing exactly what your supposed to be doing when an angry mob comes along and accuses you of being a liar, murderer, cheater, deceiver, adulterer, and every other foul thing you can think of. Now imagine that the guy leading the angry mob is your family. Then imagine being convicted of every crime that was brought against you and sentenced to death(remember your not guilty). Now imagine that the executioner is YOUR OWN FATHER. Well somebody did that exact thing just FOR YOU! Somebody was not guilty of any crime that they were accused of, yet with you in mind they took the punishment for your deeds. Well His name is Jesus Christ and He loves you that much to do that for you.

The Problem Solver...

"Why did Jesus have to die? Nobody told Him to do that for me! And if this God is real...why Does He let bad stuff happen?"

There was a time when mankind and God were close. So close that we lived in the same garden. But Adam was deceived by a serpent and at that moment we were separated from God because we were not allowed to eat of a certain tree. Yet against God's wishes Adam ate because he was tricked. This allowed sin to exist.

From that point mankind has had indwelling sin and has been living in the nature of sin(anything that is against the Will of God). God became so angry with mankind that he destroyed all people but Noah's family with a flood. But this still didn't quench God's wrath against us. He had major beef with mankind and only righteous bloodshed would satisfy our God.

Then God decided instead of just destroying us He would send His only son, who was righteous because of His father, to live, die, and come back to life (john 3:16). Wow. Instead of you, that's right you sitting here reading this, being held accountable for all of your wrongs God decided that it would be best for us that Jesus Christ be Crushed for our wrongs. And don't get it twisted, He died for every wrong, be it a white collar crime, murder, or stealing a quarter off of your friends desk. It don't matter what you did wrong because if it's sin....IT DESERVES DEATH. Now if God didn't do that, He may have decided to get rid of all of us again, because we are ALL BORN INTO SIN. So there is no such thing of getting rid of all bad stuff without getting rid of Me and You TOO.

So yeah, you may not have asked Him to die for you, but He did because He loves you that much. He wants you to dwell in Heaven with Him. Sounds good right.
